The Operations Coordinator is the glue between strategy and implementation. At Talent Gate, you will align multiple departments to ensure proper resources are allocated and deadlines are met. It’s one that involves juggling, at a high level, 10 objects in the air while still having an eye keen enough to see when things are misaligned before they turn into expensive problems.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate multiple departmental schedules to meet all project deadlines and utilize resources as effectively as possible.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for external partners, manage contracts and service level agreements.
  • Schedule interdepartmental meetings to reinforce project completion, troubleshoot any issues and ensure that every department remains on schedule heading toward the same goal.
  • Create and use SOPs to automate repetitive work and minimize margin of error in the day-to-day.
  • Manage distribution of physical and digital assets to ensure everyone is fully equipped for success.
  • Monitor and communicate KPIs to help the management keep a pulse on the health of operations, as well as progress.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent time management skills to manage concurrent deadlines and prioritize time-sensitive work while not losing focus on longer-term operational projects.
  • Solid negotiating skills to deal with vendor contracts and get the best deals possible for the company’s buying and service needs.
  • Experience in CRM and ERP systems to ensure proper documentation and flow of information throughout the company.
  • Critical thought abilities to assess complex situations and rapidly make decisions that ensure business continuity during unanticipated crises.
  • Interpersonal Skills – ability to build and manage strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, within the company and externally.
  • Attention to detail in terms of the accuracy and compliance with all operational documentation suitable for internal/external audit.
