The Training Manager is the “boots on the ground” subject matter expert of skill development at Talent Gait. You prioritize the tactical provision of training, particularly for new hires and technical teams. You make sure each new employee knows the essentials to kick things off, armed with the practical right knowledge.

Job Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design and conduct new hire training to get them up to speed as soon as possible.
  • Work with technical leads on the development of niche training modules for job roles, so that they are highly technically competent.
  • Organize all internal training sessions, liaising with venues to book rooms and equipment, and inviting participants throughout the business.
  • Build and continuously update thorough training manuals, videos, resources that will enable employees to self-serve or receive on-the-job support.
  • Track employees’ progress in training programs, offering feedback and assistance to individuals who may have difficulty grasping new ideas.
  • Keep current training materials updated to company process changes, updates from software or new industry best practices and regulations.

Skills Required:

  • Confidence in facilitation and teaching complex concepts to ensure that employees find it easy to understand and apply.
  • Experience in developing multimedia training materials (such as videos, infographics, interactive quizzes) to appeal to a variety of learning styles and preferences.
  • Strong organization skills to juggle multiple, high-volume training schedules within various departments and different company locations.
  • Being patient and empathetic to help those of all skill levels in a way that provides them with clear knowledge and creates a comfortable environment within the department, people are not afraid to ask questions.
  • Experience with office software and systems, ability to develop professional manuals and monitor employee completion rates for required compliance training.
  • Fundamental knowledge of instructional design, to provide training modules that are clear and concise and result in quantifiable performance improvement.
